MP Console on rx 8640

I have a rx 8640 with two cell board installed. I connected to MP console to configured an ip address for the MP LAN. After configuring the Ip address , subnet mask and default gateway. I can't ping or connect to the MP LAN through telnet or web browser. Is there any security issue on this series of intergrity servers.When i do ls command , i can see all the setting i configured on that interface.
The cables are all fine and blinking green lights

Insure that machine is on the same network ie have the same subnet mask as of MP LAN?

If its on different network then there would be issue.

Hi

check the ip address and subnet mask u have used.

and also if your subnet , where u access from and the MP subnet is same or if not same, routing must be there.
