Processor distribution on nPar

I have a rx8640 with 2 cell in 1 partition.
I have 6 procesor.
What is the recommendabe?
3 processor in each cell or 4 processor in one cell and 2 proccesors in the ther cell

There is no recommendation from HP for the cell-board processor distribution in a nPar.

I would distribute the CPUs equally on both cell-boards though.

Hi,

I think better you worry about the memory part rather than the CPU. Unless you have a plan to split up the N-Partition.

I would suggest U distribute the CPUs & Memory equally on both cell-boards.

i don't think it would matter fernando just note that u have a minimum of 2 single core CPUs or 1 Dual core module per cell. and since they are on 1 partition you won't have to worry.
