Console Output on rx2600

Hi everybody,

I've connected an console onto console cable from mp and, when I boot de itanium, only the prompt off MP appear, nothing else happens.

Any help ????

My keybord doesnt respond,too...I can only see the messages from HP. When I reset MP pressing and holding a little the botton on MP, it resets, but nothing else happens...

There are many possible consoles on the rx2600:

- VGA port
- 'console' port
- serial 0 port

It could be that you are using one of these, but the sytem is using another for output/input.

I would try using a color monitor on the VGA port with a mouse and keyboard connected. See if you can see anyhing setup this way.

What is the output .

Check MP>Co --->Are you able to see ny output.

As earlier said there are three possibilities u can set ur console o/p
1.serial
2.vga
3.console

Check these possbilties.

Hi,

you login into MP prompt using user "Admin"
with password "Admin"
You will get MP>
then type "CO" command

this command will take at console
