The rx6600 is not a proliant, it's an Integrity (wrong forum).

Anyway, I hope this helps:

http://docs.hp.com/en/13558/win_recovery_2003.pdf

http://docs.hp.com/en/5992-4472/win_recovery_2008.pdf

Hi,

this is a known issue, what happens is that
because the disk is converted form basic to dynamic, the partitioning numbering changes because some small extra partition space is inserted when it is converted, this is a specific Microsoft thingy.

So the boot menu EFI variables point to the wrong parition number (the old partition number) and not the new number that the Windows OS partition got after the conversion to dynamic disk.

This can be edited in a few minutes but requires some experience with EFI and boot menu manipulation with a hex editor so i advise to log a call with HP support to get this fixed for you.

Sorry i saw this post so late, it is probably to late by now.

HTH

Kris
