I've got a feeling you are going to factory install this server :)

To setup the internal raid config have a look at this doc.

http://docs.hp.com/en/J6369-90070/ch03s03.html

Choose EFI shell from the console menu.

At the Shell> prompt, enter drvcfg -s and press Enter.

Regards,
Robert-Jan

Hi all!
I have a new rx3600, while trying to boot a got strange thing: there's no option like "Boot hp-ux" in EFI Boot Manager boot menu. There's only:
iLO Virtual Media
Core LAN Gb A
Core LAN Gb B
EFI Shell [Built-in]

I tried to boot into EFI shell and look for some partitions:
===========
Shell> map
Device mapping table
blk0 : Acpi(HWP0002,PNP0A03,400)/Pci(1|0)/Sas(Addr5000C50001586855,Lun0)
blk1 : Acpi(HWP0002,PNP0A03,400)/Pci(1|0)/Sas(Addr5000C50001585BCD,Lun0)

Shell>
===========
As i can see
1) there's no factory configured raid1 and
2) there're no partitions\filesystems on the disks
(btw, there's two physical disks installed)

Am i right in 1) and 2) or i should do some additional steps?

Hi,

Are you sure it was factory installed with HPUX?

Regards,
Robert-Jan

Well... It came from factory, installed into rack and no one touched it until i did. So, if hp-ux was not installed on the factory - it isn't factory installed :). I mean, i thought that it should be installed (i saw hp-ux p\ns and the hp-ux BaseOE Media Kit came with it), so i was surprised.

If you look at the productnumbers and the # options that were ordered, then you can determine if this comes or should have come with pre-installed OS from the factory.

HTH

Kris
