JBoss on Itanium

Anyone knows if the JBoss application server is available on Itaniium and HP-UX? Their web site indicate that as long as the OS has JVM, it can run JBoss. Does anyone know there is JVM on HP-UX V2?

Hi Jimmy,

JVM is standard on HP-UX 11i v2.
Use /usr/sbin/swlist command and look at the output:

B9789AA Java2 1.3 RTE for HP-UX
and
T1457AA Java2 1.4 RTE for HP-UX

If you want to install newest release of Java, it is avalable from

http://www.hp.com/go/java

JBoss application server for HP-UX 11i v2 is now supported by HP. It is available from HP Web:
