    <description>Thanks, Torsten and Duncan.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I reviewed these links and found several ways to create the npartitions.  One thing I did not find, and please let me know if I missed it somewhere, is a way to create or modify an npar from within OpenVMS, as can be done from within HP-UX (parcreate, parmodify, etc).  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I am assuming that I have to either load HP-UX or Linux or Windows on a system and use the Enhanced nPartition commands, or create a Windows-based management station using Partition Manager. Only then can I install OpenVMS on the partitions that I created. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is that correct?  Thanks&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Jay&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
