what is the booting procedure and phases of Itanium architecture, and what is EFI ,i refer many docs but i cant get a clear picture. so pls dont send the links.thxs in advance.

At the risk of sounding rude, I can't help but asking myself, why does everyone bother to help somone, who is not willing do any work himself and expects you to serve him the document he desires ? He has done this many times before and almost all people answering this thread earlier, have contributed answers to his previous pre-adolescent style questions, with the same outcome. Why do you bother ? Just wondering.

At the risk of annoying you even more - why would we take the time to write this all here, when it is well documented elsewhere...

If you can say *exactly* what you don't understand from the links already posted you might get more help.

You need to be logged in to ITRC to see that I expect, but the EFI and boot phases are CLEARLY explained on p9-11 of this doc.
