Have you tried "lshw" or "dmidecode"?

I would try them and see what information it can provide about memory SPD on this box.

hi,
How can I read the SPD info of the memory modules installed on my RX4640 server?
It is said that that info can be found via sysfs which is like "/sys/bus/i2c/drivers/eeprom/", but nothing like that appear on my box.
I also tried to install lm_sensors (linux kernel 2.6.9), I guess this would help to find out the SPD device, but no sensors detected at last.
I would like some detailed info about the memory such as bank, timing, etc.. Any document about that would also be appreciated.
Thanks.

The only output of "lshw" about the memory is
*-memory
description: System memory
physical id: 0
size: 15GiB

While "dmidecode" is better, it can find out there are 32 DIMMs, each one is 512M in size. I grab one of the DIMM's info below. The other 31 are look the same.

Handle 0x0013, DMI type 17, 27 bytes
Memory Device
Array Handle: 0x0012
Error Information Handle: Not Provided
Total Width: 72 bits
Data Width: 64 bits
Size: 512 MB
Form Factor: DIMM
Set: 1
Locator: DIMM 0A
Bank Locator: Rank 0
Type: DDR
Type Detail: Fast-paged Synchronous
Speed: Unknown
Manufacturer: HP
Serial Number: 61c1f27
Asset Tag: Not Specified
Part Number: Not Specified

Still there is no bank and timing info.
