topic MP access from OS in Integrity Servers

MP access from OS

Hi All,

We are using HP RX2660 Server with HP UX 11iV3. And we have configured and been using MP Console login so far.
All of a sudden, we are not able to connect to the MP console via telnet.
So, to check the MP Config settings, is there a way to check from the OS.

It's not clear to me - are you able to access MP or not?

What is your console device?

(Look into syslog and search for something like "console is on ...")

Hi Torsten,

I try to connect to the Management Processor IP via telnet from remote location.
Now, when I telnet, i'm not able to connect to the MP IP.
The Server is up and running, and I do ssh to access the server Operating System.

So, to check the MP IP settings, i wanted to know if there are commands to access MP settings

Not really. Try to get the IP from SMH - this doesn't work with all servers.

You can try to access via ssh or web browser meanwhile.
