hi,

if you mean a SMS station ( OS HP-UX ) related for managing of SuperDome, them the best way is to use a Ignite/UX archive.

to the tape or ignite server

hi,

ok so them you could use a acronis SW, to make a backup images.

Mostly the SMS is not used, only for reconfiguration or diagnostic, upgrade of the firmware.

SO you could use acronis or ghost to backup this station via SMB/CIFS share.

AFAIR there should be NERO installed. Use nero to create a backup image.
