      <description>Hello,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I want to upgrade the firmware of a cell board in rx6620 server from ver 4.2 to ver 5.1 using  Windows ftp server.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1- which properties or settings , permissions should be applied on such server.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;2- when executing "fw" what shouls i specify to the following questions :&lt;BR /&gt;   2.1- user name / password&lt;BR /&gt;   2.2- path where the FW can be found &lt;BR /&gt;         ie the format of the answer should&lt;BR /&gt;         be for example c:\dist\ver5.1&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; Thanks and Regards&lt;BR /&gt;  &lt;BR /&gt;  Roger&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi Roger,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;it's not clear.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The is no rx6620 server, but a rx6600.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Tell again what you have.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This server has no cells.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Most firmware of this server is provided by hp-ux patch, EFI executable or ISO image, but not FTP based.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please run from MP:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;MP:CM&amp;gt; sysrev</description>

      <description>Just in case it is a rx7620 or something similar - make sure to read and understand the release notes!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you have doubts, ask here or better call HP support.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Doing something wrong might kill your server!</description>

      <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;On another server UNIX server that can be used download and extract the firmware for this 7620 server.&lt;BR /&gt;Then From the MP of the server 7620 make sure that the other server is reachable.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can use PING from the MP&amp;gt;CM&amp;gt;XD command to check if the other server is reachable from this 7620.&lt;BR /&gt;If yes then from the MP of 7620 run the FW command and give the location(path) wherein the Firmware has been unzipped and the username and password for a user on the other UNIX server.&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;Sujit</description>
