Installing SQL 2008 Server on Win2008 Server Itanium Based installed on HP Integrity VM

Hi All,

i Create an HPVM on an Npartition existing on RX8640. I installed Windows 2008 server Itanium Based on this VM created. I want to install Microsoft SQL 2008 Server and he aske me the .Net 3.5 FrameWork must be installed. I install this one and Windows show me The installed .NEt3.5 into the Program and Features TAB. I try to install the SQL2008 but he continue to aske me to install the .NET 3.5 Frame Work.

ANY IDEA PLEASE?

Did you do the VM restart after .Net 3.5 (SP1?) installation? What edition of SQL2008 are you using?

Hi All,

I download another DVD Image of SQL2008 Server and is OK.

I think the first one it is a corrupted file.
