You can use telnet or ssh-2 to connect to LAN console and for serial you need to use hyperterminal through serial cable.
Here it looks like
root@server1:/root_home> telnet server2_gsp
Trying...
Connected to b1_gsp.
Escape character is '^]'.
Local flow control off

MP login: Admin
MP password:

* Your connection is via Telnet. For improved security this MP *
* now supports SSH-2. Telnet can be disabled via the SA command. *

(c)Copyright 2000 Hewlett-Packard Co., All Rights Reserved.

Welcome to
Superdome's Management Processor

Utility Subsystem FW Revision Level: 15.20

MP MAIN MENU:

CO: Consoles
VFP: Virtual Front Panel
CM: Command Menu
CL: Console Logs
SL: Show Event Logs
FW: Firmware Update
HE: Help
X: Exit Connection

[nserver2-mgt] MP> co

Partitions available:

# Name
--- ----
0) server1
1) server2
2) server3
Q) Quit

Please select partition number:
