    <description>extensible firmware interface (EFI)   The IntelÂ® developed firmware environment on Itanium-based systems that acts as an interface between operating systems and platform firmware. The interface consists of platform related information, as well as boot and runtime service calls. The PA-RISC equivalent is the boot console handler (BCH).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;print_manifest   An Ignite-UX command that displays a manifest of the system it is run on. It can either display the original manifest, or gather information about the current system when it runs. See print_manifest(1M).&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Why does EFI shell show more memory than using the manifest command in HP UX ?&lt;BR /&gt;This is from the EFI show system info:&lt;BR /&gt;Product Name:  server rx3600                   &lt;BR /&gt; Active Memory    : 49152 MB&lt;BR /&gt; Installed Memory : 49152 MB&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This is from manifest:&lt;BR /&gt;System Hardware&lt;BR /&gt;Model: ia64 hp server rx3600 &lt;BR /&gt;Main Memory:        49120 MB&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>well i got this.&lt;BR /&gt;49152/1024=48&lt;BR /&gt;49120/1024=47.96875&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;EFI would show sum up of all the modules.&lt;BR /&gt;And I suppose(not sure) menifest is taking 32MB which is not becing calculated.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thats smthing I never noticed :)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;BR,&lt;BR /&gt;Kapil+&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Dear,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;EFI shell shows the installed physical memory size,but manifest (OS command) memory by some some MB less,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;you can check with cstm , it will show the actuall memory installed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;pls check.</description>
