front panel led

Hi ,
i have a rx2620 server has a front led on no 2 and 5 .Reviewing ems alerts shows the fx adapter access command error - other than that no error.
SL does not show any specific error
any idea..?

Is this the attention light? If so by reading the event logs should turn the light off. What color id the LED?

Please login to MP console and read the logs then it will clear. Please let me know once you have done it.

is this server is a part of Supoerdome, i mean SMS server.

hi,

the led color in HP servers are :

red = critical
orange = error / but the OS is running
green = normal operational status

send the output of resmon that you will get from syslog entries

grep EMS /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log

of course, connect to the MP and check the VFP.
