    <description>Just like to get some tips,&lt;BR /&gt;when connecting to MP with putty ..  via telnet, are there any "preferred setting" for Integrity or Risc  cell based servers , &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; I would be using putty from Vista regards to settings windows columns rows 26 etc&lt;BR /&gt;and  control h for backspace  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Basically so the putty screen shows a lot of lines without corruption/ glitches ,and max amount of line possible on screen ,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I would be getting  cell &amp;amp; cabinet info from MP with CP PS commands etc&lt;BR /&gt; they show a sketch i would like to keep that in the putty log in the correct format, (so it looks clear and does not move the lines across&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;as this out put will be saved to putty logs for referance,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards KT1, &lt;BR /&gt;points assigned to all answers,,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Try a different translation setting.&lt;BR /&gt;UTF-8 or font encoding usually works for me.</description>

      <description>I use Putty pretty much "out of the box" from XP for MP access with any issues. When using serial ports, keep XON/XOFF flow control and you should be fine.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Rgds,</description>
