I am trying to change the MP time on an RX2660 & RX6600 servers.
system time is OK.
I changed the time in BMC, then restarted the server to see that the MP time is still the same. I reset MP, same thing.
re-changed time in BMC, reset MP, time in MP is OK. restarted the server all over again. time in MP is back to the old time.
How do you think I should change the time in MP?

According to document you did correct adjustment ;
Read or set the real time clock, the local nPartition date/time setting. The BCH time is set
and presented in GMT (Greenwich mean time).

did you check the MP logs OR chassis logs ?

It sounds as if the time change is not taking hold. The MP just reads the time from the BMC, so there is nothing you can do there. The EFI commands 'date' and 'time' are typically used to set the system time. Is this how you are setting and checking the time?

Also check firmware revisions. The latest BMC FW for the rx2660 is 05.26:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=3346452&prodNameId=3346456&swEnvOID=54&swLang=13&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=ux-87632-1

-Bob
