rx2600 blank during boot up

Hi all,

My customer got a problem with their rx2600,this box is preloaded with 11iv2.We could not boot up using the c1064g and a normal monitor.It is just blank and i cant see the EFI at all.According to the website,it is said that 11iv2 has a default console setting.Is this the cause of this problem?Just need some information here....

Hi Raj,

You can connect to console using serial port and by default, You have to set IP address for MP. While connecting to MP from a PC, use Admin/Admin

Hi,

Connect a dumb terminal / serial connection-hyperterminal to the MP serial port...

the settings are

9600-8-N-1

login :

Admin/Admin

from here you can get in and configure
MP IP interface using

MP>CM>LC

and after entering into EFI you can configure the OUTPUT DEVICE also.

Hi,

You can connect to the console port of the W-cable using serial cable. After doing this once you can configure MP, after doing that you can use the IP assigned to MP to logon to console.

Dis you rcustomer purchase the MP console option with the Box? If they did them you can connect the W cable and identify the console cable from the w-cable.

Connect the Console cable to serial port of the terminal. Make sure the console terminal is set all to default, this always work for HP terminal consoel.
