Hi,

If you have 2 processor installed, you can try to remove one of the processor and then boot up the servers. If there is only one than perhaps you could try to re-seat the processor, perhaps it's a bad contact only

regards,
Sandy

Hello All,

We have a wierd issue with one of our HP server, which went offline all of a sudden after 285 days uptime. and the console logs says

Log Entry 79: 21 May 2007 14:00:02

Alert Level 2: Informational

Keyword: Type-02 076f04 487172

CPU did not turn on.
Hi Sandy,

We had an HP engineer come in and pull out the faulty CPU, now the machine is back up and running on 1 CPU .

Many thanks for your suggestions on this.

Regards,
PAttabhi RAman
