      <title>problem with mp port rx8640</title>

      <description>we had a problem with an mp port  --could not access via ip or serial connection..  We had to power down the whole server with all of it's vpars to reset this port.. Is there any firmware upgrades that fix this?  and or patches?  pl let me know n Thanks for your help</description>

      <description>just power up the server. not to start server. then try to connect to MP with serial cable.</description>

Hardware issue. Contact HP support for replacement. these things do happen once in a while.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>
