Jon,

pls download the Smart Setup CD from the below url. It contains also documentation on the install process.

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=1844071&prodNameId=1844072&swEnvOID=4023&swLang=13&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=MTX-19cf14ad100944d5aab3322485

If you use the MSFT install cd then it is easier to start with the above CD to assist you in the process.
Another option is to buy the re-image/re-install dvd (which includes the Windows license in the price) from HP which highly simplifies and shortens the install process since it uses images that are restored and requires a minimum of user interaction.

The SSM cd contains .pdf files that explain the steps to folluw when using the MSFT RTM media.

HTH

regards, Kris
