      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;My customer has the following configuration :&lt;BR /&gt;- rx6600 with 16 SAS internal disks.HPUX 11.31&lt;BR /&gt;He plans to use RAID 5 , so the SAS P400 controller has been choosen.&lt;BR /&gt;The question is : is it possible to manage the 16 internal SAS disks with the SAS P400 controller.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Ky Phung NGUYEN</description>

Normally, we have two connectors on the SAS P400 controller. &lt;BR /&gt;Does that mean , we only connect the 8 first disks to the connector of the 1st controller, and the 8 last disks to the connector of the 2nd controller.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Ky Phung NGUYEN</description>

      <description>Each connector on the P400 can handle 4 disks, so 8 disks are connected on one P400 and 8 disks on the other. If you order these factory installed, you do not have to worry about wiring and wires.</description>

      <description>HI,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Yes I think that we will need two P400 controller. But the problem, is , when I read the documentation, the SAS disks are connected through only 2 cables, and on each P400 controller we have two ports where thes 2 cables can be connected. So, the question is :&lt;BR /&gt;how to connect the 16 disks with only 2 cables.
