Hi

then i assume that you are getting these messages in the MP Serial console as you said that you are not able to ping or telnet ot the MP.

So you are geeting these messages in the MP Serial console.

For Ping or Telnet MP issues: if you are able to accesss the MP serila console:

1) check the physical connection of the LAN cable connectd to MP LAN Port, and to the switch that this LAN cable goes, Check the Routing.
2)Serially accessing the MP try to see the MP LAN config
MP>CM
MP:CM>LC
3)see the access config of MP
MP:CM>SO (Security Option)
MP:CM>CA (Console Acess)
4)Try by restartingthe MP
MP:CM>XD --- followed by R.

etc

for the above HP-UX messages also have allok at the syslogs.

Hi,

Thanks for reply, the server was configure from April 2007 and we didn't touch it. Maybe the restart will help. If I restart MP it will restart MP only not the System because I'm working here on production server.

Is there any way to control/access MP from HP-UX ?

Regards,
