Hi,

Has anyone had any problems with teaming a Netelligent 10/100TX PC Embedded UTP/AUI Controller and a Netelligent 10/100TX PCI UTP Controller with the 7.30 version of the new HP Proliant Network Configuration Utility 7 for windows 2000.

I get an x on one of the adapters when I team them, when they are not team the NIC is fine.

Compaq insight manager reports a failed primary NIC when the adapters are team.

Any help from some veterans would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Brett

Brett,
You posted this on the W2K3 forum so I'm not sure if your doing this under W2K or W2K3. If your using the W2K3 the HP Proliant Network Configuration Utility 7 doesnt work properly with the Netelligent NICs on unsupported servers under W2K3. While the PSP will install it ok, it will error out when you run it. I recommend going into the NIC properties and unchecking (de-installing) the HP Proliant Network Configuration Utility 7 for Netelligent NICs. Unfortunately this may not allow you to team though through the standard manner...
