I am getting the above message when I attempt
a network install of windows 2003 rc2 cpp.

The textmode setup hangs.

If you let your server a long time pending on that ?

Because we have experienced the same problem. But it works if we wait more that 20minutes (seems related to a check on all disk and if you have a big storage, seems long)

I believe that is normal.
Just be patient and wait and it
should continue.

Hi,
I have a similar issue with ProLiant DL380G3 and DL360G3 with the RTM when using a scripted installation w/ an unattend file.
Each of the servers had a Smart 5i.

At the texmode setup, preliminary files seems to be copied but it hangs with the message "Please wait while Setup copies files to your hard disk".

I waited more than 20 minutes... And after nearly one hour, the files began to be copied very slowly.

I do not have the issue when I use a Smart 6400 on DL380G3 (DL360G3 could not have an additionnal Smart Array for internal disk control).

I'm having the same problem, after tryin all i can do with smartdrv.exe.
Please can someone or Hp give a solution ?
