Hii All

I am having Compaq Proliant 3000 Server I am facing problem, that I cant able to boot from the CD Rom and its giving error that Hard disk cant be found

So plz help me out I am going nuts

What have you done so far? My 1st step would be to make sure that your drives are plugged in.

Given that it is a proliant, you may need a SmartStart CD or a driver floppy, since your OS install CD might not have the correct drivers built into it to see your drive controllers (used to happen all the time with proliants and NT4 setups)...

Hi,

First mnake sure your boot order is correct in your bios. Sometimes the CD needs to be bumped up prior to the HDD.

CHeck that the disk you have can boot. Even some of Microsofts disks require a seperate boot CD just to view them.

Create a boot disk:

note: BartPE is a complete CD OS that allows you to repair your PC with your favorite tools.
