Hi!

We decided to upgrade our Windows2003 servers to SP1.

My question is:

What is the effect of this, to the Service Desk server 4.5, OVO server A.07.21, OVO agent, NNM 7.5?

If you have a support contract, is better to ask directly to HP. For example, we tried to install Data Protector on a 2003 Cluster. The installation is impossible with SP1 applied, if you don't install SP1, then the installation is sucessfull.

You must ensure that the patch won't affect the systems, and to be sure, you must ask directly to HP.

Also, the HP support technicians did not resolve our issue with the cluster 2003 and data protector, so, even when they certify, take a good backup of your server before apply the SP1 (Maybe a disaster recovery image).

Of course, this is just my recommendation based on my bad experiences. Maybe you won't have any problem.
