Hi
I forgot to mention that I am shutting it down by scheduling a batch with tsshutdn 120 /REBOOT /DELAY:60 /V inside

All services are started and except for error message that "restart/shutdown failed" there is not any trace of troubles. It is not enough to log-off, it needs to be restarted manually and then it works.

Hi
I have W2k3 with terminal server and I am performing regular restarts of it to keep it fit. :-)
Occasionally it is happening something what makes me stand there like a "rhinocorus" without words.
It makes normal shutdown sequence, but at point when everything should go black and to start it presents login screen. (?)
Of course there is a hook. At this point it is possible to login on console, but not to use terminal services.

Heeeeeelp

Hi there,
So if I understand you correct it looks like sometimes it does a log off instead of a shutdown and the TS dows not work after that, does it work again when you log in again? If not check if there are any services not started that should start automaticly. (certenaly see if the terminal services service is started.

Also check if there is anything strange in event logs, any errors?

Have a nice day,
Regards, Ronald
