Hi there

Can't access exchage using web browser http://KGB/exchange or https://KGB/exchange gives - the page cannot be displayed ...

My OS is Windows 2003
My server name is KGB
My Exchange Server is 2003 Enterprise Edition
My domain is iesecure.co.uk (IESECURE)
Exchange Virtual Server is up and running
Exchange Web Access - Enabled, using protocol defaults

Any ideas ?

Hi,

As first step try accessing OWA locally on exchange server
through http://localhost/exchange or
http://IP Address/exchange

Hi again

http://localhost/exchange says HTTP/1.1 503 Service Unavailable.

http://127.0.0.1/exchanage asks for Username and password and works :)

http://192.168.0.101/exchanage works :)

Why is http://kgb/exchange not working then ?

If you can access the page by ip address but not by name, that could be a problem in your DNS configuration.

Check the DNS suffix for this connection in the tcp/ip properties and ensure that the domain search order is correct.

Try using the hostname.domain/exchange, for example:

http://kgb.iesecure.co.uk/exchange

Use nslookup to try to resolve kgb.iesecure.co.uk to the respective ip address.
