Windows 2003 Server Boot Disk Problem.

I have dx2700mt HP Machine, when i try to install windows 2003 server OS in machine after coping files to machine system restarts and go for GUI setup at this time before machine boot following error occurs

Windows could not start because of a computer disk Hardware configuration problem.
Could not read from the selected boot disk. Check boot path and disk hardware.
Please check the Windows documentation about hardware disk configuration and your hardware reference manuals for additional information.

Hi Mohammad,
First try to install Windows XP, see if that works now, that way you can check if this is a hardware problem or compatibility problem between this system and win2003.

I have experience to install Windows XP on this machine . Windows XP works fine.

It may be a case of Windows 2003 needing a manufacturer supplied serial ATA driver

Such drivers should be entered first during install by pressing F6 during test setup right before the auto-detect of storage.

However looking at the dx2700mt driver pages, there are only drivers available for Windows XP and Vista.

Check your BIOS setting for the serial ATA configuration also (emulating parallel ATA or native mode?). Bios version up to date? Boot disk selection in Bios?
