I have mirrored the OS to the local disk. Then when I remove the SAN disk and try to boot from the local mirror it fails. Seems like it cannot determine that the local disk is bootable. Have tried FDISK / MBR, Fdisk shows it has a partition, tried booting from a recovery floppy, ensured that the boot.ini is correct, even recovery console will not correct it. Has anybody seen a procedure to boot from a mirror? Sounds to me like the server is still trying to boot from the HBA.
