    <description>Hi James,&lt;BR /&gt;Thank you for your repsonse. I have read through the article but could not follow through as:&lt;BR /&gt;1)There is no RPC subkey in the stated registry hive.&lt;BR /&gt;2) I'm not able to open the group policy editor property page and so is not able to edit its value. (Probably due to RPC not started).&lt;BR /&gt;PS: The server is a standalone server.&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks and Regards...</description>

      <title>Fail start RPC service - Access denied</title>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;I have a Windows 2003 SP2 server that encounter some issue after applying the security baseline policy template through the Security Configuration and Analysis snap-in. Although I can launch the event viewer, I can't open the Event properties to see the detail of the event log. I also noticed that I am not able to start the RPC service, giving me error of 'Access denied'. I have since reverse the change by applying the default security template but still encounter the same problem. Can anyone advice?&lt;BR /&gt;Many thanks in advance.</description>
