      <description>I have one server that the ilo passthrough service refuses to start on, no errors just service failed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If I try to re-install it just says service already exists.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;help please&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Ken</description>

      <description>thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;diabled sevice, removed it and reinstalled it. It is using service account by default.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;So now I can reinstall it BUT still get error: &lt;BR /&gt;Could not start the HP iLO Passthrough Service on local computer.&lt;BR /&gt;teh service did not return an error. This could be an internal Windows error or an internal service error.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;nothing in event log.&lt;BR /&gt;This is the only one out of about 60 that we have iLO running on, that refuses to start.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks Ken&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Ken,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Try to start the service with the local administrator account on the logon tab of the passthrough service try this&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;computername\administrator &lt;BR /&gt;and then the password&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Updating the firmware may resolve the issue? &lt;A href="http://h18000.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/22471.html" target="_blank"&gt;http://h18000.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/22471.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope this help&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Finanlly found the problem.&lt;BR /&gt;The application log was corrupt and seemed to stop the service starting.&lt;BR /&gt;When I cleared the application log off it went.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;WIERD!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks for the help</description>

      <description>Ken,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I would suggest that you clear your logs periodically so as to avoid such wierd issues.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Glad your problem is fixed!!!</description>
