consider NTP, the windows port is very stable, and not selectivly broken like the windows time service.

http://www.ntp.org/links.html

get the gui install.

Try: w32tm /resync

Everything you EVER wanted to know about Windows 2003 Time Service:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/windowsserver2003/technologies/security/ws03mngd/26_s3wts.mspx

Jon

I found the solution to the problem:

I got following error message when click on
"update" button next to "Internet Time Server" drop-down list:

"An error occured getting the status the last synchronization. The interface is unknown.".

Solution: The "Windows Time" service are set to "automatic" but somehow is not started. Start the service and run "update" again will sync the time.

For Windows 2000, you run w32tm -once when the Windows Time service is stopped, seems MS has changed it in 2003.
