    <description>It sounds to me like you have a Technet DVD. There's possibly 2 different versions of the OS on the DVD. The first (vanilla) version requires that you copy the files &amp;amp; folders to a CD, boot up your existing OS, then run setup.exe from the CD. The second version that could be on the DVD is an ISO image. You can use a third party CD writing tool (like Roxio EasyCD creator or Nero) to write the ISO image to the CD to make a bootable CD, in which case to install, you would shutdown your machine, put the CD in the drive, then boot up.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Good luck,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Gary</description>

      <description>I have an rx2600 with HP-UX on it and would like to install windows 2003 on one of the disks. I have Smart Setup CD 3.0 and A Microsoft Evaluation DVD That Reads [Contents *Windows Server 2003 180-day Evaluations(Standard,Enterprise, 64-bit Enterprise,Web);WSRM;more *Windows XP Professional 120-day Evaluation *Office XP Professional 30-day Trial *Exchange Server 2003 Evaluations (Enterprise Edition and Standard Edition) *Systems Management Server 2.0 SP 2 Evaluation *SQL Server 2000 Evaluation Edition Release A *SharePoint Portal Server Evaluation *Host Integration Server 2000 Evaluation *ISA Server 2000 Enterprise Ediion Trial Product Key:***-******* *plus additional evaluations ] I would like to install Windows 2003 180-day Evaluation 64-bit Enterprise. Steps I tried: 1.) I added the DVD as a boot option in the  EFI Boot Manager. 2.) I booted of the Smart Setup CD 3.0. 3.) I used the Express Setup Process to create ESP, HPSP and MSR partitions.4.) when the Express Setup askes for the  windows 2003 Server Edition I place the  Evaluation DVD (the one described above)in  the DVD drive and press OK. At this point I get "unexpected trap" message the indicator ligth starts flashing red and  the system locks up.</description>

      <description>That means it doesn't support DVD for installation. Copy win2003 folder into separate CD and try.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Selvam</description>
