Sorry for the Solaris reference but It's all I know. In Solaris I can set PROM paramaters while on the system running normal operations. Reboot and have the changes take hold. Or, I can do it at the prom/bios level (ok prompt). Is there a similar way of doing this in Tru64 or is there only getting to the >>> prompt to change these settings?
Something similar to the 'eeprom' command in Solaris?

see man consvar. With that you can get and set prom variables.

It is still cool to see that people are understand each other.

Its like to a talk to an alien (tru64), but at the end we all talk about the same - UNIX
