This problem is related to a mix of different java/compiler/xml/library versions. It is well known frok knowledgebase of iplanet, sun, vms etc.

Internet Express delivers supported and tested versions out of the box without manual intervention. Using the graphical gui (the only supported way) leads to an running system without any problem.

Be sure you have installed only the delivered versions and not recompiled or installed other.

Please do not post over and over again the same question. Follow on with this thread instead.

As taken from your last posting the Tomcat Server is not taken from the Internet Express CD-Rom. So the problem is quite clear defined by different unix-vendors and given in my last answer:

Use other versions of java/tomcat/xml/libraries.

Problem is well known if the versions does not match.
Have a look at:
http://h30097.www3.hp.com/internet/detailed.htm

The internet express kit is a bundled software CD with tested and verified products. Parts of the software are supported, other are still in state "open source" without any help from support center. The kit is deployed to work "out of the box" containing several extra tools and sourcecode (also a nice web gui for setup/administration)

Installing and mixing apache and necessary addons from different sets and versions is at your own risk and not supported.

So if you have problems check the used version within the internet express kit.
The internet express contains the admin gui and a mix of working and supported modules necessary to built complex internet web applications. I've posted a link in one of my previous answers.

First of all the only thing which is still supported is the admin gui, manual intervention is not supported (have a look into the support statement on the same web-page).

So playing around is a little bit tricky and installing an apache webserver without any knowledge its frustrating. So if you are lost, delete all the manually installed stuff and install the internet express kit - using the admin gui leads to an running webserver out of the box....but I told you this information several times.
