    <description>I was installing a security application named "aide"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and after successfully running ./configure I received a Fatal error message after running make:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;devuiaccess01:/var/tmp/security_tools/aide-0.10&amp;gt;sudo make&lt;BR /&gt;make  all-recursive&lt;BR /&gt;Making all in src&lt;BR /&gt;mksh: Fatal error in reader: = missing from replacement macro reference&lt;BR /&gt;Current working directory /var/tmp/security_tools/aide-0.10/src&lt;BR /&gt;*** Error code 1&lt;BR /&gt;make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `all-recursive'&lt;BR /&gt;Current working directory /var/tmp/security_tools/aide-0.10&lt;BR /&gt;*** Error code 1&lt;BR /&gt;make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `all-recursive-am'&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is there a solution or work around for this problem?</description>

      <description>It's hard to say much without seeing the&lt;BR /&gt;"make" file, but apparently it's failing.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You might try again with "make -n" to see&lt;BR /&gt;what it would have done.  You might also&lt;BR /&gt;complain to whoever provided "aide".</description>

      <description>Stephen,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;No idea about your Aide application, but as you said it is a security application, I would suggest to update your system with the latest patches as there are so many patches has been released related to security issues.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Archunan</description>
