Comparable identity/version info about the&lt;BR /&gt;system into which you're trying to "ssh".&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;3. Whether you can log into that system in&lt;BR /&gt;any way other than "ssh", using the same user&lt;BR /&gt;name and password.  (For example, "rsh" or&lt;BR /&gt;"telnet".)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;4. The actual "ssh" command you used.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Also, making everything anonymous&lt;BR /&gt;("user@server") tends to hide potentially&lt;BR /&gt;useful details.</description>
