      <description>Tru64 also has /usr/bin/mt command for tape manipulation.</description>

      <description>Combining your questions, I see that you want to use the mt to rewind the tape but you don't find the tape device.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;To identify your tape device special file use:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;hwmgr v d -cat tape&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This will list the names of the tape special files, then use something like:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;mt -f /dev/ntape/tape0c rewind</description>

      <description>By the way, what is your OS version?&lt;BR /&gt;# sizer -v&lt;BR /&gt;In case you have V5.X tape would be something like /dev/tape/tapeX and /dev/ntape/tapeX&lt;BR /&gt;In case you hane V4.X tape would be something like /dev/rmtXh and /dev/nrmtXh</description>
