      <description>That means that the device special file /dev/nrmt0h, the default assumed by mt, does not exists.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You always should specify the device to operate with using the -f option. For example:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;mt -f /dev/tape/tape0c status&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In tru64 version 5, tape device names are /dev/ntape/tapeXc and under Tru64 V4 are /dev/nrmtXh.</description>
