      <description>It's in a simplex .Yes , i restored it from backup .During the restoration i ran dn_setup -boot to make the tape drive device files.After the restoration i had to boot in single user mode.But it failed with that error .</description>

      <description>I Think you have forgotten to tell the new&lt;BR /&gt;disk to use advfs bootblocks. Default = ufs&lt;BR /&gt;To do so &lt;BR /&gt;1) boot again from cd&lt;BR /&gt;2) disklabel -r dsk0 &amp;gt; /tmp/dsk0.dl&lt;BR /&gt;3) disklabel -z dsk0&lt;BR /&gt;4) disklabel -R -r -t advfs dsk0 /tmp/dsk0.dl&lt;BR /&gt;5) halt &amp;amp; boot from dsk0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards, Frank</description>
