Hello!
I have ALPHA DS25 server (Tru64 UNIX 5.1b on it) with KZPCC-AC RAID controller. For this controller online managing, I installed KZPCC Agent v.2.3.0.0.42. On other computer with Win2000SP4 I installed StorageWorks Command Console (SWCC) v2.2.0.213. From SWCC I can connect to my ALPHA server, I can see information about KZPCC controller. SWCC show, that agent on DS25 server installed and run properly.
PROBLEM: When I try open Storage window, SWCC show me error: "Unable to connect, call to gethostbyaddr failed: Valid name, no data record of request type".
What can I do, to resolve that problem?

Hi,

That error would appear to suggest a reverse DNS lookup up problem...

From your Windows PC check (with nslookup) that you can get the hostname of the Alpha given the IP Address.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

Rob
