LSM problem

Hi I have a problem while doing LSM voldisk list is showing
- - dsk7d localdg1 removed was:dsk7d

initially it was showing failinf failed which i have removed but still it is not working please help me.
everytime showing different errors

If you have physically replaced this disk and then initialised it for use with:

# voldisk init dsk7d

You can then add it back into the LSM configuration using the -k (keep) option, man page entry:

-k Keeps (when used with rmdisk or repldisk) or reapplies (when used with
adddisk) the previous LSM disk media records for the named disk. Typi-
cally used when replacing a failed disk to keep the LSM structure of
the affected volume or disk group intact. This option sets any plexes
requiring recovery to STALE.

Try:
# voldg -g localdg1-k adddisk dsk7d=dsk7d

Hi
one of my disk is showing online failing in voldisk list
3 partitiions are in rootdg
one in localdg
i have set failing=off for this partition bur when i m doin the same for any of the partition it is giving
failed to obtain lock
no such object in configuration:

this disk was out of SCSI so inserted it properly.

HI All
That problem i have resolved actually i was giving disk name (dsk1) instaed of DISK root01
in voledit command.
Now the problem is that one of my disk is showing
online invalid
in voldisk list.
What can be the possible reason for this.

Problem solved closing!!!!!!!11
