      <description>If you have physically replaced this disk and then initialised it for use with:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# voldisk init dsk7d&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can then add it back into the LSM configuration using the -k (keep) option, man page entry:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  -k  Keeps (when used with rmdisk or repldisk) or reapplies (when used with&lt;BR /&gt;      adddisk) the previous LSM disk media records for the named disk.  Typi-&lt;BR /&gt;      cally used when replacing a failed disk to keep the LSM structure of&lt;BR /&gt;      the affected volume or disk group intact. This option sets any plexes&lt;BR /&gt;      requiring recovery to STALE.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Try:&lt;BR /&gt;# voldg -g localdg1-k adddisk dsk7d=dsk7d&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Nigel</description>

      <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;one of my disk is showing online failing in voldisk list&lt;BR /&gt;3 partitiions are in rootdg&lt;BR /&gt;one in localdg&lt;BR /&gt;i have set failing=off for this partition bur when i m doin the same for any of the partition it is giving &lt;BR /&gt;failed to obtain lock&lt;BR /&gt;no such object in configuration:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;this disk was out of SCSI so inserted it properly.&lt;BR /&gt;thanks</description>

      <description>HI All&lt;BR /&gt;That problem i have resolved actually i was giving disk name (dsk1) instaed of DISK root01&lt;BR /&gt;in voledit command.&lt;BR /&gt;Now the problem is that one of my disk is showing &lt;BR /&gt;           online invalid &lt;BR /&gt;in voldisk list.&lt;BR /&gt;What can be the possible reason for this.&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks</description>
