hey I could not find the compiler for Pro*C Ihave done this on SUN Solaris.
Please help me out

Hi Kapil,

You may need to download and install 10g Release 1 and select Pro*C from installation options there,

the installation is already in the installation Cd. You can launch your installation and look for the option on the CD itself..

Launch the installation process from either CD or downloaded file, you can choose to install Pro*C.

Thanks but i've to run pro*c on oracle8i
on sun system i am able to do but not.
Can u please tell what to do????

Hi,

you will have to install the programmer option from the database cds. That includes the pre-compiler for C.
