Interact with SRM console

How can i stop the boot sequence to interact with SRM console.
I want to install RedHat Linux to my Alpha Server DS20E. My problem ist to boot from CD-ROM. Therefor you may tell me how to find the SRM command line....

To stop at SRM you should press halt after pressing the power button to power on the machine.

After the initial checks the machine will show the "P00>>>" prompt.

1) Press Halt button on AlphaServer.
2) If You want to prevent server from booting at poweron automatically, at the SRM console type
>> set auto_action halt

Hello!

For the stop at SRM:
Press halt at the start.
Then in a few time (comp check) you will have
the prompt.
