I have been pushing HP on the subject of availability manager support for 64-bit Windows over the last few quarters. I am not sure how precisely I am allowed to answer, but lets say that after a lot of frustration I have recently found cause to be quite optimistic.

I have informed my VMS Ambassador about this ITRC Forum and suggested that he add more.

Does anyone know when a version of Availability Manager compatible with Windows Server 2008 R2 (64-bit) will be available?

We are currently migrating all our Windows Server to 2008 R2. I tried to installed the current available version (AM 3.1 for Windows 2008 (32-bit)) but the "HP Availability Manager NDIS 5.0 Protocol Driver" never got installed even after a reboot.

Thanks in advance for any help,

Alan

You should a log a call with HP as this will encourage effort to make it work, if HP are not already working on it. Either way, that is the only way to get an official answer.
