      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;We are in a process&amp;nbsp;to migrate&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;VAX environment to CHARON VAX virtualized environment on Windows based servers .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Could you please help how to implemenet the same and what would be the strategy I need to set and requirements&amp;nbsp; before going for the migration.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Your questions don't lend themselves toa short response since many answers depend upon the software environment you currently use. I would suggest that you engage the assistance of a consultant with this experience.       <description>&lt;P&gt;ANALYZE/IMAGE is the VMS supplied tool. Have a look at the documentation. The image formats for Alpha and I64 are different, so are the tools and the qualifiers. For both you want to look at symbols which define symbol vector entries.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Or, ask Google to find the&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;VOIT&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;tool set&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;(&lt;/SPAN&gt;VMS Objects and Images Tools), available for Alpha and I64 images. It contains imgexp, a tool to list all what you seem to be looking for. However, it may require a newer version of VMS (not the OS itself, the shareable images) to run on. But it should be easy to get in contact with the author, who may be able to help you out.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
