OpenVMS 8.4 itanium upgrade parh

Hello,

The 8.4 installation and upgrade manual says we can upgrade directly to 8.4 from 8.2-1 but the 8.4 release notes says that we need to upgrade first to 8.3. So what is the correct path?

If you have a support contract with HP, I'd recommend submitting a case. This should also lead to having the online documentation udpated.

Hello,

I got the answer from HP, you can upgrade directly from 8.2-1 to 8.4. The release notes will be changed.
